I'm Reagan Vest, a visual artist based in Tennessee.

I’ve been creating as long as I can remember. It just came natural to me, and all my life I was told to go to art school, pursue painting, and be an artist. Naturally, I said no.

I went to school for business, I got distracted, I got stuck, and for years I barely painted at all. That was the choice I made after convincing myself I did not want to be an artist, but life has a way of putting you where you are supposed to be. 

I believe we make our own choices, but I don’t think I get to choose whether I’m an artist or not. I only get to choose if I waste it.
